You are craving professional growth, inspiration, and connection, but can't find it in your current situation.
You can have everything you are looking for and it's not secret...
...books are always the key, and I am herer to help you become a play expert, find the support you crave, and grow to the teacher expert you always wanted to be.
Then, I joined a book club with friends, and I realized having people to discuss books with was fun. Having a bit of a deadline worked for.
Being an almost exclusive open-ended play-based educator, play was fun and felt natural. I mean, it is isn't it?
But I quickly discovered there was another level to play-based teaching and I needed to dive deep and learn more. Then I feel in love with reading to grow. When I found my topic and I found my people, I couldn't be held back.
I learned so much about myself, my practice, and and now the person people as for recommendations for. I am the play expert in my school that everyone looks too. I can talk the talk and walk the walk. The best part?? There is still SO MUCH MORE TO LEARN!

This bonus will focus on choosing picture books that ensure they are supporting culturally responsive teaching so that we may support and create space for all of our students.
Since this is a book club, for professional growth, we all know we are here for our kids. And we all know reading is important for them too. On off months we will be dropping book lists with book suggestions for lots of differnt book categories to us in your classroom or the children you work with.
We plan to have guest speakers do lives or record sessions for us. Have awesome authors or book influencers who can guide us? Know amazing play advocates to share information? There's room for growth and you can help us shape what grows.
